Proverbs 3:1-8 and Matthew 6:33

Inspiration for this piece came from:

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. “

1 Samuel 15:22 KJV

Sometimes what we think is right in our hearts isn't always the right thing (Proverbs 21:2) When we open ourselves to the word of God and act in obedience to it; God will start revealing to us the truth that we need Him in everything we do. Proverbs 3:5-6

When you are born again and transformed by the Spirit you'll get a new mind and with that you'll desire a new heart. Stay blessed and encouraged in Jesus name.

As human beings we undergo an endless cycle of growth. Whether it's in a positive or negative way; our growth as individuals impacts the world.

The biggest growth one can experience is spiritual growth by the Holy Ghost. When you are actively seeking God He will begin to show you parts of yourself that you didn't realize was a part of you. Acknowledging God in EVERY ASPECT of your life can bring a new growth in you like never before.

Meditate on these words:

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord , and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:5‭-‬7 KJV

To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 1:2‭-‬7 KJV

God bless hope you enjoyed the poem and scripture.
